pda phone? can some one please tell me a pda phone with touchscreen?

How do I send and receive emails, via pop3, on my Orange PDA Phone? I am able to download messages after connecting to GPRS, on my Orange PDA Phone so the Pop must be OK. I'm not sure why I'm not able to send messages! Is it SMTP related? Do I need to get an SMTP address from Oraange to send messages from my PDA via GPRS? HELP!!!!!!!

Why would I nee to depend of a particular carrier if I want free wifi internet. am not a blackberry user.Wifi wireless is independant of wireless.It work the same way as wireless network from your laptop or desktop. I can go to a library and connect to the internet. Carriers are unimportant since I can unlock my phone and use it with anyone.You should read the questions more carefuly instead of looking for easy 2 points.

Is there any difference between a smartphone & a PDA that can be used as a phone? I have a IPaq PDA now which is great & want to upgrade to something that also is a phone. Can you take the Sims card out of a normal phone and put it in a PDA phone for Cingular and it works? Hi.. I want the Cingular 8525 but I'm not sure if i'll be able to get it with the same plan that my family wants go get from radioshack or where ever because it comes with unlmiited texting for every line for 29.99 and I don't see where that option is online. So, if radioshack doesn't have the phone that I want can I just get a free one and take out the sims card and put it in the PDA phone?

How much extra would you pay for an unlocked phone/PDA on ebay? I have PDA phone I want to sell on ebay. My cell phone provider will send me the unlock codes for a phone once every 90 days. I'm trying to decide whether to use this to unlock the phone before I put it on ebay or to use it to unlock the phone I am keeping for my personal use instead. I'm trying to assess how much more I would get on eBay if I got the phone unlocked first before I sell it versus the hassle of trying to get my current phone unlocked if necessary through some third party service.

I have a Samsung Blackjack PDA phone. and I want different ringtones. but i cant do it? I have software at home that i bought from best buy to make my own ringtones. and when i send them to my phone they go into my media file. So when i try to transfer it it doesnt work. and there is no button for me to "set as ringtone" or anything of that sort. can pda phones not recieve ringtones? do they have to be bought through my carrier?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a PDA Phone? I am a loyal Verizon user and since I am due for an upgrade and my PDA went out on me, I thought I would buy one of those PDA Phones but do not know which one. I use my mobile phone for my sole source of telephonic communication besides my work phone. I never exceed the 400 anytime minutes and that is also because most of my family is on the Verizon IN network. On the PDA side, I use it mostly for contacts and scheduling. My emailing would be at a minimum as I am always close to a PC and when I am on the road, its not long enough to warrant immediate emails. I am looking at the Treo 650, 700 and and now the Motorla Q. Never having used one of these things, I am kinda lost on what I should get. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! After much thought, I have wittle down my decision to either the Motorola Q or the Treo 650. The 700 is just too much money to pay for.

Is the Mogul the best Sprint PDA phone for connectivity? I am going to get a new cell phone, and decided to get a PDA/Smartphone. I have Sprint, and couldn't decide which device to get. I am a little skepticle on getting a BlackBerry, because I have never used them, although they seem to be the best devices for solid connections. I want something that can connect to the internet (broadband speeds, which Sprint offers on all their Smartphones) in the most places and at the highest speeds. It has to have Bluetooth, external memory (preferably SD card, but I can get along with MicroSD and MiniSD just as fine (but NO CF card)), a camera (don't care what megapixel), keyboard, preferably a touch screen, and a good solid connection. Now, I think that the Mogul would be the best option, because it seems to have almost everything! If any of you have the Mogul, please tell me how it is, like, the connection speeds, camera, overall performance etc. And, if any of you think that another Sprint phone would be better, let me know!
