Gadget - are those pda cell phones good (a1200 cell phone )?

are those pda cell phones good (a1200 cell phone )?

I am using the Blackberry Pearl (8100) from Cingular/New AT&T. I have never really strayed past my reliable Nokia or Motorola, so this was a risk for me. However, the email goes through faster than on my PC. The voice network has a great connection, just as good as my Nokia. It's really, really small and light. I have no complaints. Please note that I use this in the South Shore of MA.
